Booten Signs with the Blackhawks
Local talent continues to add to the Blackhawk volleyball roster. Ft. Madison senior, Kailey Booten signed her national letter of intent to play for SCC recently. Head Coach, Susan Reid, started off the 2011 recruiting class last week and Kailey Booten was one of three local standout to sign. Booten is a 5'6" defensive specialist. She was a co-captain for the Bloodhounds in 2010 and Coach Reid hopes that leadership continues when she enters her collegiate career, "Kailey is a skilled passer that will only improve with more training and experience under her belt. She has a great personality and I am hoping for a lot of leadership from her, even as a freshman. We are looking to fill our roster with outstanding athletes and also great students and off the court leadership. Kailey will bring a lot to our team and we are excited to work with her."
