Hannah Smith Commits to SCC
The SCC Blackhawk Volleyball Team added to their roster in a big way last week. Burlington standout, Hannah Smith, made her decision and has signed her letter of intent to play with the Blackhawks for 2011. Head Coach, Susan Reid, started off the 2011 recruiting class last week and Hannah Smith was one of the first to sign her letter of intent. Smith is a 5'10" middle hitter. Coach Reid feels that, "Hannah is a great pick up for our team. She is an outstanding athlete, powerful hitter and a superb person on and off the court. I feel that Hannah will step into the middle position very well for us. We are lucky that she is palying for a talented club team and will get a lot of experience with our style of offense this spring. We are excited to start working with Hannah and expect her to be a huge factor in our offensive scheme." Smith is one of three recruits that inked with the Blackhawks last week.
