Getting Through College

It's not always easy to transition from high school to college. There's a lot to figure out: how to study for college work, how to get around campus, how to use the college intranet, where to meet people like you, how to pass the time, and more.
You're not alone.
SCC Student Services Division exists to not only help students get through college but to help you excel at college. That's why we have a whole host of services designed with you in mind.
Enrollment Services not only helps students register for class, we also help prepare you for life after SCC - whether you're entering the job world right away or you're transferring on to another college. Heck, we can even help you find a job! Now THAT'S service.
The SuCCess Center provides a variety of services to help you succeed. Classes are offered in the areas of reading, writing, study skills, and math. FREE peer tutoring services are provided as well as a great place to study.
Student Life staff know that there's WAY more to college than just class and term papers. We're here to make your SCC experience be the best it can be. College clubs & organizations, residence halls, intramural sports, student activities & events. There are plenty of ways you can get involved, meet friends, and have fun.
Athletics programs at SCC are well-respected throughout the state, the region, and the nation. Two of our programs have been National Champions (Men's Basketball & Women's Softball) and the others hold their own too.
the SuCCess Center... it's for YOU
SCC's SuCCess Center offers a number of great resources for students. From testing to peer tutoring (how to get tutoring & how to become one) to services for first-generation college students to special programs for college-bound high school students, we've got a lot to offer our students.
No matter what your trouble, we can help you out (or point you to the people who can). Be sure to pay us a visit. We'll be waiting for you.
Can't find what you're looking for? Got a question about something? No problem. Just let us know. Stop by or contact Enrollment Services or the Success Center. We'd be glad to help.
