Meet the Coach
Gary Anderson - Head Coach
Coach Anderson brings 29 years of volleyball experience to the Blackhawks. Sixteen of those years were spent playing volleyball for Jr. National teams during which, he received an offer to play at Ball State University. Gary elected to serve in the armed forces where he was select for and played on the All-Army Volleyball Team. As an all-army volleyball player, Coach Anderson competed at the national and international levels. Coach Anderson has 13 years of head coaching experiences at the club and high school levels, not only has he helped established 4 club programs, he has taken eight teams to a top 10 finish at Regional's including one 1st place finish, in addition to two top 10 finishes at Nationals. Coach Anderson is known for his fast paced, explosive offense in addition to developing his players for the next level of volleyball. Tom Anderson - Volunteer Assistant Coach/Western Iowa Area Recruiting Coordinator.
Tom Anderson has been involved in locating collegian athletes the past 8 years; additionally he has served as the interned Head Women's Volleyball Coach for Iowa Central Community College. "Coach Anderson brings knowledge of the game, experience in recruiting and an ability to find area talent. He is a great addition to our staff."
