Commencement - KEO
The graduation ceremony for Keokuk students will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 7:00 PM at the Grand Theatre (click here for directions).
Rehearsal
Rehearsal will be held earlier the same day (May 9th) at 12:15 PM at the theatre. Finals will also be held this day, so we understand if you are unable to attend, but we strongly encourage you to attend rehearsal if at all possible.
Prior to the Ceremony
The processional line will be formed outside in the parking lot on the south side of the theatre (weather permitting). In case of inclement weather, the line will be formed backstage. Please be in line NO LATER THAN 6:30 p.m. Students will line up in alphabetical order within programs. For further instructions, please read the Keokuk Campus Graduation Information.
Seating at the Grand Theatre is rather limited. Should families desire to sit together, they should plan to arrive early. Oftentimes, it is necessary to split groups in order to seat everyone. Please assist the ushers by spreading this information. Also, disability seating is limited. Should a disabled person be attending please notify the Registrar's office so that tickets may be issued.
Photographs
For your benefit, we have made arrangements with GradImages for a professional photographer to record the moment you are awarded your diploma.
This service will enable all students to have a photo of their graduation. Families are encouraged to remain in their seats, enjoy the ceremony, and limit picture taking to before and after the presentation of diplomas.
